The ASR Mini-Basis Phono-preamp

The new ASR Mini-Basis Phono-Preamplifier is built in a case made from high-quality, lightly transparent acrylic glass like all ASR amplifiers. The inscription is engraved and coloured by hand.
The Mini-Basis is adjustable in the input impedance (22, 100, 47.000 ohms) and in the gain (+10dB, +16dB, +30dB, +35dB, +40dB)to use it with all usual MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) pickups.

A highly efficient, shielded 72 VA PM (Philbert Mantelschnitt) transformer with a low magnetic field by using high-quality magnetic sheet metal provides a high dy-namics of the voltage supply. The AC voltages from the transformer are rectified with ultra fast Schottky-Rectifiers and buffered in 4 high-quality Philips switch-mode PSU Elkos with al together 130,000 UF. These well filtered operating voltages supplies 4 very fast and extremely low-noise measuring amplifier circuits made by Analog Devices. So the relaxed sound picture of the Mini-Basis keeps much strength within the low frequencies range together with a particularly high dissolution of detail. Available in two versions: With black acryl with golden engravements and in blu grey acryl with silver engravements.
