The
Emitter I
The Emitter I is the entry model, offering all the qualities
of the Emitter- family. Separate power supply are keeping
electro-magnetic fields and vibrations away from the
control unit. The power supply unit is equipped with
two large and powerful PM (Philbert-Mantelschnitt) transformers
with a smaller PM transformer for Standby operation.
The two power transformers are switched ON softly with
5 high power relays in the energy saving mode. If required,
they can be switched via a current limiter into normal
operation mode. In the power supply unit, 8 different
voltages are generated. Every voltage is rectified individually
and pre- buffered. These voltages are used to supply
the input amplifier, driver, output stage as well as
the control circuit separately.
The Emitter I is connected to the power supply unit
with a 2 meter long double shielded cable. The 30 contacts
of the plug-in connector are designed individually to
handle 16 Ampere. The RCA sockets for the 6 inputs are
constructed from gilded massive brass. The insulator
consists of high-quality Teflon. Massive silver wire
with a Teflon coating is used for the music conductors.
The 60 Amp pole speaker terminals allow up to three
loudspeaker cables with connector spades for Bi- or
Tri-wiring. 4 mm plugs can be connected firmly and secure.
To avoid any possibilities of accidental short circuits,
the pole terminals are fully isolated and mounted at
a distance of 40 mm. A wear-resistant step switch adjusts
the volume precisely with 32 relays. A micro controller
supervises the correct function of all parts of the
amplifier and protects it in the case of possible malfunction
for the Emitter and the loudspeakers.
The LED- display is of 35 mm in size and is therefore
easily seen. It informs you about changes and what is
proceeding in your Emitter, and switches off after 10
seconds, depending on the setting.
Under the double-sided main board with special thick
copper- tin layers, there are 60 mm2 mass rails,
at which the two boards are mounted for the buffering
electrolytic capacitors. Even in our smallest version,
there are built-in electrolytic capacitors with an opulent
296.000 uF.
The
Emitter I Exclusive version:
The
Emitter I Exclusive offers the consistent and further
development of the Emitter I.
All latest improvements of the Emitter I are integrated
into the Exclusive version. The results achieved,
the reproduced sound picture is extremely fast and
dynamic. The sound of the Emitter I Exclusive is even
more relaxing, smooth and homogeneous. Through its
extremely high speed, the Emitter Exclusive reproduces
authentically the three dimensions of good reproduction
into the listening room. The detachment of music from
the loudspeakers becomes so perfect that an audible
location of the loudspeakers at the listening place
is virtually impossible. The Exclusive power supply
unit achieves the essential part of the tonal improvements.
This unit is equipped with enhanced and more powerful
transformers, with improved magnetic core type. 56
ultra-fast rectifier diodes and 166.000 uF capacitors
are used for pre- filtering. A special ferrite shielded
power cable 3x 2,5 mm2 with a defined filter characteristic,
avoids the influence of high frequency power supply
distortions and maintains full dynamics. The Emitter
1 Exclusive is constructed with 12 high current 150
Watts Power- Mosfet-transistors, a military high grade
driving chip, faster foil capacitors and Elkos with
a total of 556.000 uF.

The Emitter I Exclusive is an Emitter I with faster
plastic foil capacitors, enlarged buffering of 556.000
uF together with military ceramic control circuits.
The Exclusive power unit produces 8 exceptionally
clean filtered DC voltages.
The input stages are supplied separately. 56 very
fast single diodes are inserted for rectification.
The Emitter I Exclusive achieves a more precise and
a fuller, rounded sound. The most intricate of tones
are reproduced tenderly together with a stronger and
fuller bass.
The Emitter I can be upgraded to the improved and
better-equipped Emitter I Exclusive version upon request.
The Emitter I Exclusive can be equipped with an accumulator
power supply unit for the input stage with
400.000 uF additional filtering. The result is exceptional
homogenous, spatial and relaxing performance.
